Our high visibility ANSI/ISEA Class 2 vests are an ideal solution for people who work in hazardous or low light environments. This vest includes Red LED lights and makes a perfect school safety worker or crossing guard safety vest and is also an excellent option for construction workers. These vests are designed to drape over your body like a coat. The core vest meets the ANSU/ISEA 107-2010 class 2 requirements.

These vests have multiple light modes so you can choose one that best fits your needs. In addition to the solid "ON" function like the original, these Class 2 vests also have a flashing mode.  Includes high power rechargeable battery pack and a smart charger.   This vest is a must have for any school crossing guard.

Product Specifications

The ANSI/ISEA class 2 LED Light vest comes in 3 sizes M/L, XL/2XL, 3XL/4/XL.  All have a zipper in front with adjustable Velcro side attachments. 

The ANSI/ISEA specification does not yet have a category for lights.

The key features of the Class 2 LED Light Vests are:

  • High visibility, LED lights can be seen for miles.

  • Day glow fabric.

  • Large reflective strips.

  • Vest construction is polyester day glow mesh and polyester reflective fabric.

  • Front high output (120 lumens) white LEDS, provide hands free work lighting.

  • Front high output LEDs each have a light bezel to shield the light from the users eyes.

  • Back high output red LEDs are visible for miles.

  • Both front and back LEDs are wide angle light output.

  • Individual front and back on/off switches.

  • Rain proof the vest will handle the worst weather including rain.

  • Two large pockets on each side of the inside front of the vest.

  • Run time is 4 hours with both front and back LEDs constantly running using the 1000 mAhr Nimh battery pack, and 12 hours using the 2500 mAhr Nimh battery pack upgrade.

  • Comes with a Nimh ready to use rechargeable battery pack.

  • Comes with a smart wall charger

Light settings are controlled with a toggle switch:

  • Front white LEDs: On/off/flash

  • Back red LEDS: On/off/flash

Product Weight

Vest weighs just under a pound with 4 hour battery and just over a pound with the 12 hour battery.

 Washing Instructions

Remove the battery pack, lay the vest on a flat surface, scrub with a soapy brush, and rinse with clean water. Try to avoid getting water in the blue control box. Let the vest air dry, and then replace the battery pack.
